and then for the specifications for remedial work or mitigation, and the work necessary to implement that work to enable the building to be entered on satisfactory completion. on the Cladding Assurance Register. This contract has been under negotiation for a long time, but it is understood the terms are now agreed. It is envisaged that each builder will sign a contract, the terms of which will be the same for all developers. The process is now identifying with those developers the properties for which they are responsible, and with regard to which they will be legally liable. Once defined, the contract for each developer will need agreement by the developer's board. It is estimated that maybe 150-200 buildings .
The aim is to have this finalised and in place by the Parliamentary recess which commences on 28 June.
2. RICS published a list of individauls who had completed training to enable them to undertake EWS assessments.

3 .The Scottish Goverenment's Single Open Call for Expressions of Interest to identify buildings which may need assessment has produced 31 responses to date.
With the expansion of the Scottish Government's scheme to include Registered Social Landlords ( RSLs) and Local Councils, it is not a surprise that it is estimated that more than 50% of responses are from tenants or RSLs
4. The 'spend' on remediation will clearly be spread over the period of time each builidng takes to complete any works.
