Ministerial Statement at Holyrood tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday 25 March


Promised in the statement on the Renewed Plan of Action.

  • More detail on:-

  • The Scottish Government's

    • proposed approach, 
    • strategic priorities 
       to address the key Ministerial commitments to increase pace  and breadth of the scheme 
      • The Open Call plan to allow development not currently identified of properties which may require government led remediation
         and in the scheme to be included - launch dates etc
      • Plans to identify Highest 'at risk' buildings to  with a view to 'triage' the  risks and priorities for remediation/mitigation
  • Improvement of communications particularly with those living in affected properties.

A Reminder

The Scottish government is

There will,it seems, also be reference to the Scottish Government's response to the Grenfell Inquiry Phase 2 recommendations, and the UK Government's response and the interaction with Scottish law provisions.
